A Study on the Transformation and Development of College English Teachers from the Perspective of ESP
In recent years,college English teaching is facing the challenge of credit compression,and the quality and validity of curriculum education have attracted much attention.In order to cultivate high-quality and innovative talents and meet the needs of social development,the current English teaching is accelerating the upgrading from general English to English for special purpose(ESP).Faced with the increasing demands for ESP courses,college English teachers are constantly seeking self-awakening and breakthrough in teaching roles,knowledge structure and professional knowledge.At the same time,some teachers have transformation confusion and anxiety.In view of these,the corresponding countermeasures and suggestions are put forward to promote the efficient operation of ESP.
