Developing Students'English Application Ability based on the Smart Classroom Teaching Model
With the rapid development of network information technology,it has brought new opportunities and challenges to English teaching in universities,promoting the transformation of classroom teaching towards digitalization and intelligence.English application skills include comprehensive information analysis ability,language practical ability,and cross-cultural communication ability.It is not only one of the essential core competencies for college students,but also a top priority in the cultivation of college English talents.Based on the smart classroom teaching model and guided by English teaching theory,this paper analyzes the connotation and characteristics of the smart classroom ecosystem,and proposes strategies and suggestions for cultivating students'English application ability from the perspectives of curriculum system construction,resource environment construction,curriculum design,and teaching practice.
