Physical education classroom teaching in universities is responsible for both teaching and cultivating students'physical fitness,while extracurricular sports training is responsible for cultivating athletes'physical fitness and professional qualities.The two exhibit similarities in form and nature;there are significant differences in objectives,tasks,methods,and management mechanisms.By sorting out the similarities and differences as well as the connotative connections between the two,starting from the perspective of the principle of complementarity,this paper proposes practical countermeasures for the differences and similarities complementarity between the physical education classroom and extracurricular sports training in universities.The aim is to promote the collaborative management of physical education teaching and sports training,and achieve the goal of mutual reference,service,and promotion between the two.
