Research on Child-Friendliness of Urban Park Landscape based on Kano-IPA Model——Taking Xinghua Park in Hefei City as an Example
Urban parks play a crucial role in promoting the physical and mental well-being of children,fostering creativity,and offering educational opportunities.To enhance the friendliness and appeal of urban park landscapes for children,a child-friendly park landscape evaluation system was developed based on 5 key factors extracted from 21 landscape factors by principal component analysis.Utilizing the Kano-IPA model,12 priority optimization landscape factors were identified,including game site safety,water element safety,and the enjoyment of game facilities.It is recommended to improve site safety by combining children's activity characteristics.Incorporate natural landscape elements to increase site interest.Encourage children's participation to enrich site functions with three optimization strategies,which can provide evaluation methods and suggestions for optimizing child-friendly urban park landscapes.
