A Study on Cultivating Students'Discourse Analysis Ability in College English Teaching
College English is a compulsory course that cultivates students'core subject literacy and practical application ability.Faced with the current problems in teaching,combined with the new trends in social employment in the new era,it is urgent for universities to change their thinking,and carry out innovation and reform in course teaching to keep up with the times.Starting from the analysis of the connotation of discourse and discourse analysis theory,this paper sorts out the factors that restrict the improvement of students'discourse analysis ability,focuses on proposing the optimization path for cultivating students'discourse analysis ability in college English teaching,and explores the precautions for integrating discourse analysis theory into college English teaching,aiming to promote the synchronous improvement of college students'discourse connection and coherence abilities.
