Regional Differences in the Form of Rural Sports Practice and Response Strategies from the Perspective of Field Theory
Using research methods such as literature, logical analysis and field research,we analyze the regional differences of ru-ral sports practice patterns and coping strategies from the perspective of field theory in southwest Yunnan,Guizhou, central and northern Anhui and Zhejiang, and east Jiangsu and Zhejiang in China. The study concludes that the regional differences in rural sports practice patterns lie in two dimensions of funding and participation. The urban-rural relationship is classified into two bas-ic types of one-way flow and two-way interactions according to the direction of population resource flow between urban and rural areas. The logic of regional differences in rural sports practices lies in the social field in the urban-rural relationship, and the so-cial field shaped by the urban-rural relationship acts on rural sports practices through two intermediate mechanisms:the market location conditions and the degree of rural modernization. The market location condition determines the capital intensity of rural sports funding, while the degree of rural modernization constrains industrial and agricultural development, farmers'income levels and their lifestyles, thus shaping rural sports funding and farmers'sports participation habits. The study suggests that the strategies for rural sports development between regions are to adjust the structure of urban-rural relationship and optimize the allocation of sports resources;to guide the development of capital diversification and enhance the selectivity of farmers'sports participation;to reverse farmers'sports habits and cultivate an active view of sports exercise participation.
