Exploring the development of sports intangible cultural heritage from the perspective of"cultural ecology"is of great sig-nificance for the inheritance and development of intangible cultural heritage in sports.Using research methods such as literature review and comprehensive analysis,this study defines the concepts of"cultural ecology","intangible cultural heritage of sports",and"cultural ecology of intangible cultural heritage of sports",and explores the practical difficulties and solutions for the develop-ment of intangible cultural heritage of sports from the perspective of cultural ecology.The Research suggests that the current chal-lenges include a decrease in cultural identity,a disconnect in inheritors,loss of authenticity,and a lack of social organization.Thus proposing to reshape the values of the times and enhance cultural identity;Innovate inheritance methods and expand the group of inheritors;Integrating with tourism and building a new model of ecotourism;The solution to establish modern social or-ganizations and improving autonomous capabilities.
