Strategic Transformation and Integrated Development of Drama Education in Higher Education in the Context of New Humanities Disciplines:A Study Based on"Tense"and"Voice"
Drama education,as a specialized program under the category of art studies at the undergraduate level, combines theories and practices from drama studies with educational science, resulting in a still-developing interdisciplinary field. With"aesthetic education"as its ultimate goal, drama education urgently needs a clear definition of its professional concept and a disciplinary development enriched by rigorous research methods and comprehensive knowledge systems. The recent push for new humanities disciplines has led to increasing interdisciplinary development in the humanities and social sciences, presenting both opportunities and challenges for the drama education discipline, which straddles both art and educational fields.By focusing on drama education as the research subject, this study analyzes its morphological definition, internal training elements, and the implications of new humanities disciplines, discussing the challenges it faces in development and strategies for future growth from the perspectives of professional value, historical context, and educational environment.
