The Psychological Cost of Complying with the Ostracism:the Moderating Effect of the Agreeableness and Helping Behavior of the Excluded
To explore the relationship between the personality traits of excluded individuals and the psychological cost of complying with ostracism,two experiments are conducted to explore the influence of agreeableness and help-ing behavior on the psychological costs of complying with ostracism in this study.The results of Experiment 1 show that the psychological costs of conforming to others'instructions to exclude agreeable individuals are higher than that of non-agreeable individuals.The result of experiment 2 shows that compared with the non-agreeableness and non-helpful individuals,the psychological costs of conforming to others'instructions to exclude agreeableness and helpful individuals are higher.
