As a typical representative of inter-regional higher education cooperation,the construction of ALCUE Common Area of Higher Education has accumulated rich experience in the following aspects:formulation and im-provement of laws and regulations,credit transfer and accumulation system,teacher-student mobility and mutual visits,cross-border academic exchanges and cooperative research projects,financial support,etc.The experi-ence of ALCUE has brought many inspirations for promoting the Belt and Road education action,such as establis-hing the concept of internationalization and understanding the importance of inter regional higher education coopera-tion;Finding suitable alliance partners and establishing educational cooperation mechanisms;Establishing multi-level governance model to promote the coordinated development of regional education;Mobilizing the participation of the whole society and promote higher education cooperation across regions.
