The Dilemmas and Breakthroughs of Anhui's Education Modernization in the Process of Yangtze River Delta Integration——An Analysis Based on the Project of"Education Modernization Monitoring and Evaluation in the Yangtze River Delta"
"Taking the lead in realizing regional education modernization"is a strategic measure to achieve inte-grated high-quality development in the Yangtze River Delta, accelerate the pace of building a strong education country and promote Chinese path to modernization. However, one of its important tasks is to address the"falling behind of Anhui".Through field research and comparative analysis,it is found that in the current practice of ac-tively promoting the development of education modernization in Anhui, there are still problems such as inadequate levels of educational funding security, widening urban-rural gaps, weaknesses in school education environments and infrastructure capabilities, insufficient higher education, low lifelong learning service capabilities and educa-tion supply levels, and the need to improve the quality of education and teaching and governance capabilities. To overcome the realistic dilemmas faced by education modernization,Anhui needs to carry out more theoretical think-ing and practical exploration in terms of precise investment, teacher training, the cultivation of distinctive fea-tures,fairness guarantees in education, and monitoring and evaluation.Measures should be taken to establish and improve a diversified education investment and distribution guarantee mechanism;further strengthening the training of a high-quality teacher team system;promoting the classified development of colleges and universities, with a commitment to building Anhui into a strong province in higher education;making up for the lack of continuing edu-cation and strengthening the last line of defense for education equity;effectively giving play to the guiding function of monitoring and evaluation,as well as the role of policy adjustment.
