Based on Chinese Proficiency Grading Standards for International Chinese Language Education,this article com-pares the Chinese words in Chinese language education in China,Malaysia,Singapore and Europe.It's found that the amounts of words decrease from inner the circle to the expanding circle,while the amounts of overlapping words with Chinese Proficien-cy Grading Standards for International Chinese Language Education increase.This is due to the transition from mother language education in the inner circle to overseas Chinese language education in the middle circle and then to Chinese as a foreign lan-guage education in the expanding circle.The study shows the characteristics of the word distributions in Chinese language edu-cation in three countries and one region,and then puts forward suggestions concerning the improvement of word distributions.
