In international Chinese language education,the learning of language is inseparable from the understanding of cul-ture.As an important part of the excellent traditional Chinese culture,intangible cultural heritage is of great significance to telling Chinese stories well and presenting the image of China.In view of the current situation of intangible cultural heritage in the curriculum,teacher teaching,and textbook development in international Chinese language education,what will be more conducive to the application and development of intangible cultural heritage in classroom teaching are enriching the content of the compulsory part of the curriculum,cultivating comprehensive and well-developed teachers,and systematically developing textbooks.In addition,the selection of representative intangible cultural heritage items to carry out a variety of teaching prac-tices inside and outside the classroom,making culture from the text to life,will facilitate further the dissemination of intangi-ble cultural heritage and the exchange of Chinese and foreign cultures.
