摘要
本文在主张严格区分示证范畴与认识情态范畴的理论前提下,基于大规模语料,对"看起来"的语义及用法进行了细致的分析与描写,结合汉语具体的语言事实,认为"看起来"是一个亲知示证语和推知示证语,它在某些用例中所表现出的言者不确定的承诺态度,仅是其衍生功能.
Abstract
Based on the theoretical hypothesis of a strict distinction between the two categories of evidentiality and epistemic modality,this article provides a detailed analysis and description of the semantics and usage of kanqilai(看起来).On basis of a large-scale corpus,we claim that kanqilai is a sensory evidential and an inferential evidential.In some sentences,it has a derivative function,which is to indicate speaker's uncertain attitude to the proposition.
