Research on Optimization of Primary Frequency Control of Thermal Power Units based on Load Interval Analysis
With the increasing share of new energy in the electricity system,especially considering the in-stability and uneven distribution of new energy such as wind and photovoltaic,maintaining the stability of the electricity system has become particularly important.The primary frequency regulation of thermal pow-er units is of great significance in the shift from fossil fuels to new energy.This article analyzes the assess-ment data of power plants and conducts frequency modulation transformation research.The results showed that due to the increase of low load time,the assessment indicators of the power plant did not meet the re-quirements.The frequency modulation transformation process optimized and adjusted the frequency modu-lation logic and parameters.After the transformation,the performance improvement effect of the main control system of the steam turbine was significant,and the improvement optimization increased the aver-age action qualification rate of the system by 16%.The research results provide theoretical basis and practical guidance for future research on primary frequency regulation of thermal power units,and are of great significance for addressing the stability challenges of large-scale integration of new energy into power systems.
