Economic-operation Optimization Analysis of Combined Heat and Power System with Considering Heat Storage Tank and Pipe-network Virtual Energy Storage
In this paper,a model of combined heat and power(CHP)system with considering heat stor-age tank and pipe-network virtual energy storage is established, and the effects of load scenario, coal price and pipe-network length on the operating cost of the CHP system under different energy storage de-vice configurations(such as no energy storage device, with virtual energy storage, with heat storage tanks, with heat storage tanks and virtual energy storage)are discussed. The results show that:the ener-gy storage configuration with thermal storage tanks and virtual energy storage significantly reduces the op-erating cost of the CHP system, and the reduction in operating cost is greater when the thermal and elec-trical load fluctuates significantly,e.g.,the reduction amplitude reaches 26.12%under industrial load condition; The increase in fuel price leads to a linear increase in system operating cost, but compared to the CHP system without energy storage device, the system with energy storage device still have lower op-erating costs and better economic efficiency;Due to the limit of pipeline-network heat storage capacity and the effect of pipeline-network heat loss, there is an optimal pipe length that minimizes the operating cost of the CHP system.
