Effect of Gas-solid Reaction on Fluctuation Characteristics in a Fluidized Bed
Regarding the gas-solid pulsation behaviors in fluidized bed reaction process, the Eulerian-Lagrange method is employed to explore the impact of particle size variation caused by the reaction on flu-idization characteristics and bubble evolution behaviors in fluidized beds. The wavelet analysis method is adopted to analyze the change of energy fraction caused by the reactions. The results reveal that the pro-gress of reaction leads to a continuous increase in the amount of gas products, and the bubble effect is more pronounced, resulting in a more severe backmixing of bed materials in the bed.The reaction gener-ally increases the energy fraction of particle pulsation in contrast to that without the reaction. As the reac-tion proceeds and the reaction degree decreases, the radial distribution difference in energy fraction is weakened.
