"家无余赀"——略论宋代官员的轻财士风
"No Extra Money Left at Home after Death"——A Brief Discussion of the Not Money-Valuing Phenomenon of Officials in the Song Dynasty

摘要
在宋代官员的传记中,"既没,家无余赀"的人生结局频频出现,这类官员人数不少,很多甚至因近乎赤贫以致无法殓葬.关于宋代官员俸禄的探讨很多,也出现了宋代官员实际俸禄并不高的论点,但俸禄再低也不至于使这些官员面临"既没,家无余赀"的境地,其中定然还有其它原因.历史文献表明,这类官员有着相近的士人之风,清廉自持、任侠好施、不吝钱财,展现了宋代官员的时代风貌,这也是其"既没,家无余赀"的主要原因.
Abstract
The life ending of"no extra money left at home after death"appears frequently in the biographies of officials in the Song Dynasty,and there are many such officials,many of whom did not have the money to get them buried after death because they were close to extreme poverty.Although there has been a lot of discussion about the Song Dynasty officials'salaries,and there have also been arguments that the actual salaries of Song Dynasty officials were not high.However,no matter how low their salaries were,such officials would not face the situation of"No Money Left after Death",there must be some other reasons.Historical documents show that such officials had a similar style of scholars.They were honest and self-controlled,chivalrous and generous with money,showing the style of the Song Dynasty officials,which is also an important reason why they had no extra money left at home after death.
