Henry's Phenomenological Approach to Restoring Subjectivity and Its Problems——From His Reinterpretation of Marx's Economic Philosophy
Michel Henry emphasized the subjectivity of the individual in his"phenomenology of life".Furthermore,he reinterpreted Marx's practical view, asserting that the living labor of the individual is the basis of economic value.Based on this,Henry rejected capitalism's economy overriding abstract economic category over subjective practice, and denied its ontological primacy.Thereby,he tried to restore the subjective status of individual practice in the economy in the"advanced stage of communist society".In this sense,Henry's interpretation of phenomenology of life has theoretical value to restoring the concept of human subjectivity in economic reality.However,the"one-sided emphasis"on subjectivity and immanence also causes many problems.
