On the Lack of Chinese Culture in College English Textbooks and Exploration of Reconstruction Strategies
The articles selected in the current college English textbooks are mainly from Western culture,reflecting the theme ideas and cultural factors basically limited to the framework of Western culture and ignoring the cultivation of students'mother tongue and native culture.From the perspective of curriculum-based political and virtuous awareness,this paper analyzes the phenomenon of lack of Chinese culture in college English textbooks,points out the significance of integrating Chinese culture into college English textbooks,and explores the implementation paths of Chinese culture into college English textbooks from the aspects of critical selection and presentation of Chinese cultural content in textbooks,highlight of intercultural contract in textbooks and construction of three-dimensional and loose-leaf supplementary college English textbooks.
