Application of the"Internet+"based flipped classroom in the basic operative surgery teaching of square knot
Objective To explore feasibility and effect of the"Internet+"based flipped classroom in the basic operative surgery teaching of ligation. Methods Clinical undergraduates from Grade 2019 of our school were taken as participants, randomly divided into two groups. The control group(46)adopted the traditional teaching method, while the experimental group(48)adopted the"Internet+"based flipped classroom teaching method.A questionnaire was conducted to evaluate the satisfaction with this teaching mode. Results The number of single hand square knotstied by the observation group students within 30 seconds and the standardization of knowing were significantly higher than those of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(t=2.432,P<0.05;t=3.043,P<0.05).The satis-faction of the observation group(95.8%)was higher than that of the control group(89.1%),and the difference was statistically significant(χ2=6.969,P<0.05).Conclusion The"Internet+"based flipped classroom method signifi-cantly improved the quality of classroom teaching. It is worthy of promotion in basic operative surgery teaching.
