Analysis of the current situation of information literacy and research on improvement strategies of medical students
With the rapid development of information technology and the continuous progress of the medical industry,information literacy has become one of the essential core abilities of medical students.However,numerous studies have shown that the information literacy of medical students needs to be improved urgently,such as weak infor-mation awareness,weak information ability,and lack of information retrieval and utilization skills.Therefore,it not only affects the efficiency and quality of medical students in obtaining,analyzing and using medical information,but also limits its development in academic research and clinical practice.Specific countermeasures such as improving the curriculum system of information literacy education,strengthening the construction of teachers and creating a good learning atmosphere can not only effectively improve medical students' ability of information retrieval,screening,evalua-tion and utilization,but also make them better adapt to the medical development needs in the information age.It can also provide useful reference for medical colleges to improve the quality of information literacy education and train medical talents with high quality information literacy.
