Effect of newman system nursing combined with mindfulness therapy on perioperative negative emotions and medication compliance in patients undergoing radiofrequency ablation of atrial fibrillation
Objective To investigate the effects of Newman system nursing combined with mindfulness therapy on perioperative negative emotions and medication compliance in patients with atrial fibrillation(AF)undergoing radiofre-quency ablation. Methods A retrospective study was conducted. The clinical data of 53 patients with atrial fibrillation who received routine care in hospital from January 2022 to December 2022 were selected as the control group, and the clinical data of 53 patients with atrial fibrillation who received Newman system care combined with mindfulness therapy in hospital from January 2023 to December 2023 were selected as the observation group. All patients received continuous care for 7 days. The Positive and Negative Affect Schedule(PANAS)was used to compare negative emotions before and 7 days after nursing between the two groups.Perioperative medication compliance and complications were statistically compared between the two groups. Results After 7 days of nursing, the positive emotion score of PANAS in the obser-vation group(33.42±5.13)was higher than that in the control group(31.06±4.65),and the negative emotion score(16.23±2.98)was lower than that in the control group(19.45±3.15)(P<0.05).The medication compliance of the observation group was 88.68%(47/53×100%)higher than that of the control group 66.04%(35/53×100%)(P<0.05),and the complications of the two groups were compared[7.55%(4/53×100%)vs 1.89%(1/53×100%)](P>0.05).Conclusion Newman system nursing combined with mindfulness therapy can effectively improve the positive and negative emotions of patients with radiofrequency ablation of atrial fibrillation and improve medication compliance.
