Ursolic acid enhances the sensitivity of colorectal Cancer to oxaliplatin by regulating autophagy
Objective To investigate the effect of ursolic acid on the sensitivity of colorectal cancer cells to oxaliplatin and its possible mechanism. Methods Oxa-resistant colon cancer HCT116 cells were constructed and divided into control group(NC group)and ursolic acid group(UA group).Cell activity in each group was detected by CCK8.The apoptosis of cells in each group was detected by double staining. The expressions of LC3 and P62 were detected by Western blot. Results Compared with the control group, the sensitivity of HCT116 cells in ursolic acid group to Oxa was increased, the expression of LC3-Ⅱ was decreased, and the expression of P62 was increased.Ursolic acid could promote the apoptosis of colon cancer cells induced by Oxa,but increasing the expression of ATG7 could reduce the effect. Conclusion Ursolic acid enhances the sensitivity of colon cancer HCT116 cells to oxaliplatin by regulating autophagy.
