A rare case of accessory talar ossicle malformation and literature review
Objective To reports a case of small talar deformity,and reviews the relevant literature to sys-tematically describe the etiology,pathology,diagnosis,treatment and prognosis of talar ossicle malformation.Meth-ods The date of history,symptoms,imaging materials,clear diagnosis,carrying a small bone removal,healing joint forming,fixed 4 weeks of gypsum after surgery,rehabilitation exercises about talar ossicle malformation were all recorded in detail.The relevant literature was reviewed and summarized.Results Patients in this study have re-covered their limbs after treatment,without pain,numbness and other discomforts,and walking normally.Conclu-sion The academic community is not enough to know the lacked bone deformity,and it is prone to missed diagno-sis and misdiagnosis.There is no guidance or expert consensus on the treatment of the disease.We believe that the appropriate treatment plans should be made according to the specific conditions of patients,early diagnosis,individ-ualized treatment,correction of local anatomical structure and function,and restoration of local joint function as much as possible.
