After retirement,most of the elderly technology workers live in urban communities,and the management mode has changed from the original unit system to the community system.It is necessary to adapt to the changes of the times and help the elderly technology workers achieve success through the construction of community elderly science and technology associations.This article uses survey research methods and questionnaire data analysis to understand the cognition,participation willingness,and demands of elderly science and technology workers towards the construction of community elderly science and technology associations and the provision of community services.According to research,more than 90%of retired science and technology workers are still willing to contribute.However,the frequency of their activities is relatively low.The top three activities are science popularization lectures Cultural and entertainment activities and training techniques,as well as the organization of cultural and sports activities,psychological adjustment services for senior scientific and technological workers,and meeting their needs for continued learning,are the focus of current community science and technology associations.However,there are also issues such as insufficient funding and limited venues in the construction of community science and technology associations.The innovation of grassroots party building leadership mechanisms is explored in this article,cooperative governance to promote organizational empowerment,and"five social linkage"and a pathway is proposed for community elders in science and technology to assist elderly science and technology workers in unleashing their potential in areas such as intelligent construction and improving the level of refined services.
