Upon analyzing the data of CGSS,this study comprehensively examined the impact of work pressure on health from two dimensions:physical and mental health, and with a focus on examining the moderating effects of individual social capital and work social capital on different gender groups. The research found that work pressure negatively predicts women's physical health, while individual social capital positively moderates the impact of work pressure on women's physical health. The research also found that work pressure negatively predicts the mental health of men and women, and individual social capital and work social capital positively moderate the impact of work pressure on women's mental health, while the moderating effect on men's mental health is not significant.Compared to men, women's physical and mental health is more susceptible to the negative impact of work pressure. However, the compensatory effect of social capital on their physical and mental health is also more significant.
