The regional innovation system is an extension and embodiment of the national innovation system at the meso-level,and the realization of the national innovation strategic goal depends on the effectiveness of the regional innovation system.Based on a problem-oriented approach,this article systematically reviews the current situation of the construction of the regional innovation system in Inner Mongolia,analyzes the factors that hinder the effectiveness of the system from the perspectives of innovation environment,innovation ecology,and innovation performance.The article also draws on domestic advanced experience to propose targeted suggestions for optimizing the environment,ecological collaboration,and demand-driven development,with a view to improving the overall effectiveness of the regional innovation system.
