Research Status and Future Prospects of Generative AI in Education:Taking ChatGPT as An Example

以ChatGPT为代表的生成式人工智能通过自然语言处理生成具有语义和逻辑的文本,生成图像、视频和音频等多种形式的内容,受到教育领域的广泛关注.本研究采集Web of Science核心集数据库中生成式人工智能与教育相关研究的504 篇文献,采用VOSviewer、Pajek和Scimago Graphica等软件进行文献计量学分析,呈现全球生成式人工智能在教育领域的应用研究,并提出未来研究的指向.研究发现,生成式人工智能在教育领域的应用主要集中在个性化学习、角色模拟、智能推荐等方面.然而,目前的研究还面临一些挑战,如模型的准确性和可解释性、数据隐私和伦理问题等.未来的研究仍需要关注这些问题,并进一步探索生成式人工智能在个性化教育、教学改进和教育决策支持等方面的应用.
Generative artificial intelligence(AI)represented by ChatGPT has attracted widespread attention in the field of educa-tion by generating semantic and logical text through natural language processing,generating various forms of content such as ima-ges,videos,and audio.Based on 504 articles related to generative AI and education in the Web of Science core set database,this study conducted a bibliometric analysis by using VOSviewer,Pajek and Scimago Graphica,showing the global application re-search of generative AI,and putting forward future research directions.The study finds that the application of generative AI in the field of education mainly focuses on personalized learning,role simulation,and intelligent recommendation.However,there are still some challenges in current research,such as the accuracy and interpretability of models,data privacy,and ethical issues.Future research still needs to pay attention to these issues and further explore the application of generative AI in personalized edu-cation,teaching improvement,and educational decision support.
