The Progress and Perspectives of the Studies on Curriculum Research in Elderly Education in the New Era:A Review of the Second Shanghai Forum on Curriculum Research in Elderly Education
Curriculum is a key issue in elderly education,but it is still in the exploratory stage.Based on the main viewpoints of the second Shanghai forum on the curriculum research of elderly education,"the construction of fine-designed courses and the high-quality development of elderly education",this paper discusses the focus points of the curriculum research of elderly edu-cation under the background of the development of the times and the digital wave:to focus on the characteristics of the times and respect the value orientation and subjective needs of elderly learners;to set up the curriculum structure scientifically and reasona-bly,promote the systematic construction of education for the elderly,and encourage the innovation and development of character-istic courses;to promote the integration and promotion of theory and practice,and support the two-way empowerment of curricu-lum research and high-quality development of elderly education.The participants of the forum agreed that we should promote the reform of the elderly education curriculum in the new era with rich and prospective research on the elderly education curriculum,welcome the high-quality development of the elderly education,and help the construction of a learning society and the construc-tion of China's independent knowledge system.
