Higher education,Vocational education,and Lifelong education each bear different missions in the national innovation system.Higher education mainly achieves knowledge innovation through the production of profound knowledge;vocational educa-tion realizes technological innovation in conjunction with enterprises by leveraging its"cross-boundary"characteristics,and life-long education promotes the application of innovative knowledge and technology through lifelong education for talents.From a the-oretical perspective,in the coordinated innovation system,higher education,vocational education,and lifelong education should form a dynamic non-organizational model with multiple asymmetric and complex relationships based on common interests,inter-linked and mutually promoting,and ultimately connect the"knowledge-technology-application"link through the exchange of in-novative elements and energy among innovation subjects.From a practical perspective,coordinating the coordinated innovation of the three types of education requires reshaping its spatial boundaries to eliminate barriers to the flow of innovative elements,clari-fying the interest boundaries of the three types of education to gather the internal synergy of innovation subjects,and strengthening the performance evaluation of innovation subjects to stimulate the overall efficiency of the innovation system.
