Scientific research and social service are important functions of higher vocational colleges.Strengthening the scientific evaluation of the development of scientific research and social service in higher vocational colleges is an important premise and foundation for further promoting the development of higher vocational education.In order to continuously collect and analyze the current situation and development status of vocational colleges in scientific research and social services,the Shenzhen Evaluation Research Team will continue to conduct scientific evaluations of the development trend of scientific research and social service competitiveness of vocational colleges nationwide in 2024 based on the research on the competitiveness evaluation of scientific research and social services of vocational colleges in China conducted in the past three years.In this evaluation,on the basis of the previously released"strength and level evaluation rankings focusing on identification functions",a new"value-added evaluation rankings based on development perspectives and improved functions"has been added.The investigation based on the dual perspectives of"result evaluation"and"value-added evaluation"is conducive to a fairer observation of schools.
