The construction of digital rural areas is an important breakthrough in comprehensively promoting the strategy of rural revitalization.Based on the research perspective of labor force return,using data from the China Rural Revitalization Survey(CRRS),this study explores new patterns of labor mobility in China under the background of digital empowerment of rural revitalization using the Logit model.Research suggests that the construction of digital villages will promote the return of labor force.The results of heterogeneity analysis showed that the rural labor force with younger age,higher education level and vocational and technical training were more inclined to"return"to the countryside.Favorable employment and entrepreneurship environment,more diverse employment opportunities,and continuously improving income levels in rural areas are the main reasons for the return of labor force.Therefore,it is necessary to further smooth the circulation channels of talent between urban and rural areas,encourage returning labor to start businesses and find employment in rural areas,effectively docking the resource advantages of all parties,cultivate a new type of professional farmer team,and help rural revitalization.
