Exploration on the Problems and Countermeasures of Training in Vocational and Technical Education Professional Postgraduate—Based on the Perspective of Autoethnography
The construction of vocational education faculty is a fundamental work to accelerate the modernization of vocational education and is of great significance for promoting the high-quality development of vocational education in China.The study adopts an autoethnography research methodology to analyze the current problems in the process of vocational education faculty training in China from the perspective of vocational and technical education professional postgraduate.Research has found that the current process of cultivating master's degree programs in vocational and technical education has a wide range of enrollment criteria and a high number of fresh graduates;the implementation of the multi mentor system is inadequate,and the graduation requirements urgently need to be improved;the internship practice setting is rigid,and there is a lack of supervision and evaluation;it is difficult to find employment and there are practical problems such as shortcomings in personal development.The study found that in the current training process of vocational and technical education professional postgraduate,there are such practical problems as too wide a caliber of enrollment and acceptance and a large number of fresh graduates;unfavorable implementation of the multi-mentors system and urgency to improve of the graduation requirements;rigidity of internship setups and lack of supervision and evaluation;difficulties in job hunting and shortcomings in personal development.Improvement strategies are proposed in four aspects:optimizing and adjusting the restrictions of enrollment and graduation,exploring the establishment of a vocational education faculty training community,establishing and implementing an internship practice guarantee mechanism,and broadening the employment channels and directions of the vocational education professional postgraduates in order to provide a reference for the culti-vation of high-level vocational education teachers in China.
