Textbooks are an important basis and carrier for school education and teaching,and textbook construction is an important component of national power.The construction of vocational education textbooks in China has gone through three stages:the recovery stage,the exploration and development stage,and the high-quality development stage.At present,there is still a lack of balance between the instrumental value and the ontological value positioning in the construction of vocational education textbooks.The backwardness of textbook theory has led to insufficient types and characteristics of the vocational education textbook system,and the insufficient attention of textbook publishing institutions has resulted in difficulties in achieving the desired quality of textbook publishing.Promoting the high-quality development of vocational education textbooks requires adhering to the logical starting point and value orientation of human development,strengthening theoretical research on textbook construction from a holistic perspective and constructing a discourse system for vocational education textbooks with Chinese characteristics,and building a multi-party collaborative vocational education textbook governance system with the goal of producing high-quality textbooks.
