In order to continuously collect and deeply analyze the development status and trend of Chinese vocational colleges,the Shenzhen Evaluation Research Team continued to scientifically evaluate the development trend of the comprehensive competitiveness of Chinese vocational colleges in 2024 based on the research work conducted in the past three years.Different from the previous three evaluations,in order to better adapt to the changes in the structure of Chinese vocational education,further promote classification evaluation,and better meet the different needs of various society sectors,this evaluation distinguishes junior vocational colleges from tertiary-level vocational colleges,and evaluates them separately.The evaluation results show that:① Among undergraduate vocational colleges,Shenzhen Polytechnic University,Nanjing Vocational University of Industry Technology,Hebei Vocational University of Industry and Technology are the top three.② Among junior vocational colleges,the top three are Jinhua Polytechnic,Chongqing College of Electronic Engineering,and Shandong Institute of Commerce and Technology.③ Among non-key colleges and universities,Nanjing Vocational University of Industry Technology,Yangzhou Polytechnic Institute,Henan Institute of Economics and Trade have also shown outstanding performance.④ Among private vocational colleges,Guangzhou City Construction College,Shaoxing Vocational&Technical College,Zhejiang Guangsha Vocational and Technical University of Construction can be considered as excellent representatives of Chinese private vocational colleges.⑤ From the regional distribution of excellent vocational colleges,they are mainly concentrated in Zhejiang,Jiangsu,Beijing,Shandong,Tianjin,Guangdong,Chongqing,Shaanxi and other regions.
