Design and implementation of frontier affairs integrated system
In order to satisfy the demands of the frontier force's daily work and to conform to the trend of integrated application of information systems, this paper proposes a frontier affairs integrated system which is combined with GIS technology, the Beidou satellite navigation technology and system integration technology. The system is developed to meet the needs of the frontier defense and management, to deal with the specific work processes and to fix the shortcomings of the existing isolated systems. The system integrates the functions of information search, command and communications, situation display, geographic analysis, decision support and so on, and realizes the information sharing within a department and between departments.
