外文摘要：The officials serving Emperor Xiaozong before he ascended to the throne were an important political force in his reign in the Southern Song Dysna-ty,consisting of Jianguo Duke,Pu'an Princess,and his grand tutors,officials and followers.As the officials before his ascending to the throne,Emperor Xi-aozong trusted and heavily relied on this group.In the group there existed two fractions-doves and hawks in the handling of its relationship to Jin Dynasty,which exerted a significant impact on Emperor Xiaozong's decision making.However,within the group,some held high positions only due to the emperor's favor although lacking political talents,leading to the political situation of sycophantic courtiers holding high office during Xiaozong's reign.
