外文摘要：During the War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression and in its subsequent period,at the request of the national government,Robert Pollitzer,the world's top plague expert,successively taught in the plague prevention and control trainee class in Quxian,Zhejiang,the plague prevention and control personnel training class in Changde,Hunan,the plague study group in Nancheng,Jiangxi and the plague prevention and control workshop in Southeast Fujian.He mainly adopted the trainee training mode and fostered a large number of talents with excellent theoretical and practical abilities in plague preven-tion,plague treatment,plague inspection and environmental health extermination.Doctor Pollitzer had profound medical the-oretical literacy,first-rate scientific research level,rich practical experience in plague prevention and control and superb pro-fessional spirit.The plague prevention and control training materials he compiled was widely used by various medical and health institutions in China,making a significant contribution to the training of plague prevention and control personnel in modern China.
