Construction and Evolution of CPC Revolutionary Linkage Network in Western Zhejiang(1927-1936)
In the period of Agrarian Revolution,multi-linkage was a distinctive feature of the revolution in western Zhe-jiang as a marginal area.Based on the vertical organizational network constructed by local class relations,Western Zhejiang Special Committee(WZSC)strenuously pushed forward the horizontal organizational interaction and enabled the revolutionary linkage center network of western Zhejiang to finally take shape.During the WZSC period, this center network played a cruci-al role in inter-regional transportation, organizational interaction and revolutionary activities, and thus was re-established sev-eral times thereafter. With the rise of Soviet movement,Kaihua and other counties in the western border part of Zhejiang Prov-ince extended the scope of revolutionary linkage across the provincial territory, completing the evolution of this linkage net-work.The construction and evolution of this revolutionary periphery in western Zhejiang as a self-shaping center and the revo-lutionary mode of linkage around the area reflected the complexity and multi-faceted nature of CPC's early exploration of local revolution. It also provides a fresh perspective for re-examining the mirror image of the early CPC revolution in regions be-tween the Red(CPC-controlled)and White(KMT-controlled)Areas.
