Adjustment of CPC's Anti-Friction Policy and Evolution of New Fourth Army's Anti-friction Strategy——Centered on Fifth Division of New Fourth Army
In order to counter KMT's series of anti-Communist military friction,the Communist Party of China timely ad-justed its anti-friction policy while developing its own strength during the War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression.Meanwhile,the anti-friction fighting strategy of the New Fourth Army in Central China was adjusted accordingly.Before and after the formal establishment of the Fifth Division of the New Fourth Army,its strategy experienced the evolution process of"military restraint and political solution seeking","promoting armistice based on military tactical victory",and"avoiding KMT Army and obtaining new living space in strategic offensives",which actually reflected the change of the military strength of the KMT and the CPC during the National War of Resistance.
