Ever since the birth of the New Fourth Army,Japan's Foreign Affairs Police have paid close attention to it and conducted investigation,collection and research on its related activities.So far,few scholars at home and abroad have given attention to or used those materials.The content mainly involves the formation,training,strategy and tactics,mobilization and propaganda of the New Fourth Army and KMT-CPC relations.The exploration and analysis of these materials provides a new way to know and understand the New Fourth Army from the opponents'perspective,and serves as an important supple-ment of historical materials for the study of the New Fourth Army.
