Analysis of biological characteristics and genomic characteristics of wild Ganoderma lucidum in Lianyungang
Wild Ganoderma lucidum resources are extensively found in Lianyungang. In this study,we utilized whole-genome resequencing technology to examine and analyze the genomes of Ganoderma lucidum with different morpholog-ical and habitat characteristics. The purpose of this study was to unveil the biological and genomic characteristics of wild Ganoderma lucidum in Lianyungang. The results showed that the mycelium of wild Ganoderma lucidum germplasm resources collected from different regions had clamp connection, and had the conditions to form fruiting bodies, and the biological characteristics were quite different.Through principal component analysis,12 wild Ganoderma lucidum germplasm resources were grouped into three categories, and the third category had more abundant genetic diversity.Analyzing the distribution of single nucleotide polymorphism(SNP)and insertion or deletion(InDel)in the genome of 12 strains of Ganoderma lucidum,it was found that the number of SNP on chromosome 1 was the largest, accounting for 46.07%,and the conversion and inversion ratio(Ts/Tv)in the SNP was 2.03,indicating that the variation was mainly conver-sion.The genetic difference caused by insertion or deletion was the highest on chromosome 1,accounting for 44.31% of the total InDel number. These results showed that Ganoderma lucidum in Lianyungang had rich genetic diversity, which could be used to further explore more functional genes and breed varieties.
