Analysis of genetic diversity and construction of fingerprints for core germplasms of muskmelon based on KASP markers
In this study,we analyzed the polymorphism of core resources of muskmelon by competitive allele-specific PCR(KASP)markers, with a view to screening single nucleotide polymorphism(SNP)markers of muskmelon resources, which could be applied to the purity identification and fingerprint construction of the parents and hybrids of muskmelon. From the pub-lished 297 melon resequencing data,95 muskmelon resequencing data were selected for SNP marker development, and polymor-phism analysis was performed on 20 core muskmelon germplasm resources of the subject group. The results showed that a total of 50 SNP markers were developed, and distributed on 12 chromosomes of muskmelon.Among the 50 SNP markers,23 SNP markers could be used to genotype 19 core muskmelon resources.Six markers including Marker33,Marker38,Marker23,Marker36,Marker47 and Marker42 could completely distinguish 19 muskmelon germplasm resources. The results of this study provide favorable support for the identification of muskmelon resources and variety purity in the later stage.
