The equity of urban park green space distribution at different scales:A case study of Nanjing
With the rapid development of urbanization, maintaining the equitable allocation of urban park green space resources has been a wide concern. In this study, residents'social and economic attributes were characterized by analy-zing the resident price and the spatial distribution equity of park green space on three levels(community level, regional level, city level)was also explored, based on the data such as the spatial distribution of park green space in downtown Nanjing and the residential properties. The target of this paper was to provide a basis for future urban park green space planning. The results showed that the high-accessibility areas of parks at three levels were mainly distributed along the Qinhuai River and its surrounding areas. In addition, the spatial distribution characteristics of the accessibility of park green space at three levels were positively correlated with housing prices, indicating that residents in high-priced residen-tial areas enjoyed better service from park green space.Besides, the spatial distribution characteristics of the accessibility of regional park green space had the highest correlation with housing prices, showing that the inequitable distribution of regional park green space was the most serious.
