ASSAB718模具钢表面磨削开裂原因分析

通过扫描电子显微镜断口检查以及光学显微镜组织分析,对ASSAB718模具钢磨削后开裂原因进行检查.结果表明:模具在锻造加工过程中工艺不规范,存在粗大的变形网状组织,显著增加零件的淬火变形.热处理淬火变形后,模具表面经过了超高温的二次加热校正,加热温度甚至超过模具材料的熔融温度,致使模具表层出现铸态枝晶组织,次表层出现过烧组织,使材料强度急剧降低,脆性显著增大.最终在模具表面磨削加工时,产生严重的磨削裂纹.
Cause analysis of surface grinding crack of ASSAB718 die steel
Cause of surface grinding cracking of ASSAB718 die steel was examined by scanning electron microscopy fracture examination and optical microscope.The results show that the forging process of the die was not standardized and resulting in large deformation network structure, which significantly increased the quenching distortion of the parts.In order to correct the quenching distortion, the die surface was heated by two times at very high temperature, which was even higher than the melting temperature of the die material, resulting in cast dendrite microstructure at the die surface and burned microstructure in the subsurface layer, and the strength decreased sharply, the brittleness significantly increased.Finally, severe grinding cracks were produced when grinding the die surface.
