Common prosperity is the essential requirement of socialism with Chinese characteristics and an important feature of Chinese modernization.However,since the reform and opening up,the phenomenon of urban-rural information differentiation caused by the coupling of progress in information technology and urban and rural institutional mechanisms,which has not only caused new urban and rural inequalities,but also exacerbated the uneven distribution of wealth.This is incompatible with the goal of comprehensively building a modern socialist country and realizing common prosperity for all people.It is necessary to realize value innovation,system innovation and field innovation of urban and rural information dif-ferentiation governance through concept change,government regulation and technology empowerment,and promote common prosperity of all people in the high-quality development of urban and rural integration.
