The rule of criminal law to be constructed in China at present includes not only the promotion of the concept of criminal law,but also the clarification of some important misunderstandings.It is necessary to establish the concept of people-oriented practice,life-first consideration,and respect for freedom,to strengthen the awareness of responsibility,bottom line and prevention,and to clarify misunderstandings such as"the criminal law is omnipotent","the criminal law only punishes the evil",and"the principle of legality is the pursuit of formal justice".In line with this aspiration,both in classroom teaching of criminal law and the study of criminal law,it is necessary to adopt independent thinking,implement the autonomy of research,and consciously serve the construction of a legal knowledge system with Chinese characteristics.
