Innovation of China's Social System:New Situation,New Challenges and New Tasks
A modern society should be full of vitality and equipped with good order.Since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China,China has made historic achievements in social system innovation.In terms of institution-al improvement,it mainly includes"Safer China"initiative,increasingly improved public service system,and continuous optimization of the social governance system.At present,China's social system innovation is facing a new situation,high-lighted by the need to address a series of economic and social difficulties in the modernization process;we need to adapt to the new forms of social contradictions and risk development in the new stage,and face the balance of efficiency,fairness,and security required by the current reform.The main problem to be solved with China's current social system innovation is the insufficient stimulation of the vitality of social subjects,manifested in the lack of balance between governmental roles in administration and protection of society,insufficient function of social regulation,inability to fully unleash the role of social readjustment,and insufficient channels and incentives for public participation.Promoting Chinese modernization at a new starting point depends on further giving full play to the subjective role of society,optimizing the social system to the greatest extent,coordinating the development of a harmonious,dynamic and resilient society,and forming a governance structure featuring promising government,effective market,and dynamic society.
