Exploring the internal correlation of General Secretary Xi Jinping's important discourses on historical confi-dence from the perspective of the subject is key to understanding the profound connotation of historical confidence.At the level of subjective cognition,Xi Jinping requires that the historical subject should understand history through the method of grand historical view to build historical confidence.The cognitive content includes two levels:historical consciousness of law of historical development and historical process,and the firm belief in their own historical destiny.At the level of sub-ject practice requirements,Xi Jinping emphasizes that in order to implement historical confidence in the concrete practice process,the historical subject must fully grasp the historical initiative on the basis of grasping the law of historical develop-ment,maintain due historical patience and strategic concentration when encountering setbacks,create history by fighting when coping with risks and challenges,and persist in carrying forward the spirit of struggle.
